Traditional Recipe Rice & Peas

Our tasty traditional recipe rice & peas, combines easy cook long grain rice with red kidney beans, coconut milk and spices. It’s the classic side to enjoy with a whole host of caribbean dishes.

Cooking instructions

Squeeze the pouch to separate the rice. Tear open or cut a 2cm strip at the top of the pouch. Place upright on a microwaveable plate.

Microwave on full power: 750w for 2 minutes / 850w for 1.5 minutes.

Carefully remove pouch from microwave. Tear pouch to fully open and allow the steam to escape. Leave to stand for 1 minute.

Empty contents onto a plate, fluff up rice with a fork and serve.
