Spicy Jerk Wrap Kit

A firm family favourite, our spicy jerk wrap kit is perfect for a night in or a get together lunch. Our recipe combines soft flour wraps with a dried jerk seasoning mix and a scotch bonnet jerk paste.

500g chicken breast mini-fillets

1 yellow pepper, sliced

1 green pepper, sliced

1 red onion, sliced

Go vegan!
Make your Spicy Jerk Wraps vegan by replacing the chicken pieces with your choice of sliced vegetables. Alternatively, you can also use soya pieces.
Cooking instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine the chicken pieces with the contents of the Jerk Seasoning Mix pouch. Make sure that all the chicken is well coated with the jerk seasoning. Leave to marinate for 2-3 minutes.

Heat 1-2 tablespoons of oil in a large pan. Cook the chicken over a medium-high heat for 4-5 minutes. Add the sliced peppers and onion. Continue to cook for a further 5 minutes.

Add the Jerk Paste into the pan, making sure that all the chicken and vegetable pieces are very well coated. Continue to cook on a medium heat for a further 10 minutes until thoroughly cooked and golden.

Heat the wraps:

In the microwave: Place wraps in microwave and heat for 30 seconds on full power (800 watts).
In the pan: Heat a large pan and toast each wrap for 5-10 seconds on each side.

Allow wraps to cool slightly before handling.

Place a wrap flat down on a plate. Fill with the cooked spicy jerk chicken and jerk seasoned pepper and onion pieces down the centre. Roll up and serve.
